Verizon iPhone Release Date: January 2011

It's official: The iPhone is coming to Verizon. When, you ask? January 2011! This is really exciting, as the release date of the phone itself is just a few months away. According to bloomberg.com (original link below), who has been in touch with two Verizon and Apple Executive (chosed not to be named) behind the scenes, the new phone will be released at the same time as Verizon's new 4g LTE network, or January 2011. This is the first time the idea has been made fact, rather than rumor, which is really great! I am definitely going to buy this phone when it is released, and I am just as excited as you are! iWork For iPhone/iOS 4 for iPad Coming in November

According to the iAd info on Apple's "Applecare" Website, iOS 4 will be available for iPad this November, as well as a version of iWork and the Apple Office Suite for iPhone and iPod Touch. While it is surprising that Apple has not released this as of yet, it is good to have confirmation that it will finally be coming in November. Hopefully this stands firm. All information comes from an Adage Report on apple about its iAd Platform, and it seems as though this is truly correct information.

iPhone 4 "Death Grip" Issues? Software Fix Coming.

According to Apple, the iPhone 4 reception issues at first seemed to be a non-issue for them, as Steve Jobs did not really care--he just declared to "stop holding the phone in a way that blocks the reception". However, after much thinking, apple has decided to release a software update next monday, dubbed "iOS 4.01. This update is intended to fix the sotware update problems, and we will have to wait and see if it is so. Good Luck for all the iPhone 4 users out there!--Hopefully this will fix all the troubles people have been having lately with the new phone.

How to Get iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch Widgets

Anyone interested in iPhone Widgets? Unfortunately, Apple hasn't exactly implemented their full "Dashboard Widgets" into the iPhone operating system. This is surprising, considering that the iPad is considered to be a computer in today's society. Anyway, moving along...do you want to get widgets today on your Device? Well, this isn't exactly Apple's direct implementation, but there is an app in the app store called iGizmoz that does replicate Apple's Dashboard in a very simple, yet great apple-esque way. iPhone 3g is Out of Stock...

According to BoyGeniusReport, At&t is officially out of stock of the iPhone 3g. A memo was sent out to all of its employees today, explaining the following:

      "June 4, 2010
      iPhone 3G 8 GB is Out of Stock
      Effective immediately, iPhone 3G 8GB is Out of Stock. Please refer all customers to iPhone 3GS 16 GB and 32 GB models.
      FAQ:
      Q: When will we receive inventory for iPhone 3G 8GB?
      A: At this time, we do not know when more iPhone 3G 8GB will arrive.
      Q: Are there any iPhone 3G 8 GB available in COR if my customer can purchase there?
      A: Check with your local COR stores to see if they have any inventory available."

The memo seems to be aimed at authorized resellers of the iPhone 3g, and it explains to them that they must check in their local stores to see if there is any stock of the phone left.

The iPhone 4g is likely to be released next week at the WWDC, and the price of the iPhone 3gs may take the spot of the 3g at walmart, which recently stepped the price down to $97. Stay tuned for news on the release of the iPhone 4g.

No Verizon iPhone At WWDC, Verizon CEO explains...

The Verizon CEO explained today that there will be no Verizon iPhone in "The Immediate Future". However, this does leave the option open for there to be one in the Fall of 2010, as well as all of 2011--One will eventually be upon us. Catch the video for full information.

At&t Angers iPhone Customers with New Data Plans

At&t has boosted its data prices from what they used to be, now making them much more expensive than before. Current users of the iPad are eligible to get a data plan for as little as $15 a month, and iPhone users have it included in their plan. Will this detract from iPhone sales? We will have to wait and see.

Besides all of the other information that has been released today, a great word of news has reached our ears: the New iPhone 4g Battery has been confirmed! The battery is said to have 15% more power than the iPhone 3gs battery, and it lasts much longer. Check out the video below for pictures and more info.

iPhone 4g Confirmed: "A Chinese Counterfeit"

According to macrumors.com, the iPhone 4g Prototype that was found earlier this year was indeed an apple device, and it was returned to them. However, the Team in China who discovered this device (working for Gizmodo) was able to play around with the parts and design a device that was almost exactly the same as will be released next week.
