Geohot Working for Facebook: Something Big in the Works? Could be...Mobile Updates?

Recent news has finally confirmed that Geohot is working for Facebook, which the company actually confirmed themselves. Geohot, for those who don't actually know, is the original Jailbreaker and Unlocker of the iPhone, and he is also more recently known for hacking the PS3. Both of these endeavors left him famous in the headlines of many news websites for a long time. Now, he returns on the scene just as Mark Zuckerberg confirms there is "Something Big" coming for Facebook in the near future. Many people are speculating this has something to do with Geohot, however, no one knows for sure what the "Something Big" actually is or who is involved with it. Rumors have stated it is probably going to be in the mobile aspect of Facebook, with Geohot heavily involved. Check out the video below for more details!

New iPod / Music App in iOS 5 Features and Review (iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch)

After a long debate, Apple has finally decided to make all of their devices unified in terms of an iPod or Music / Video apps and they have changed all of their iDevices to have only Music and Video apps, eliminating the iPod App forever. Personally, this is not a major deal, but I will miss the iPod app. However, the good news is that Apple has included some cool new features in the new music app for iPad and iPhone, which can be seen in the video below. I can't wait for the final release of iOS 5 to be released, as the music app will be less buggy, but for now, this is pretty cool. Check out the video after the break, and be sure to follow me on twitter, subscribe to my YouTube Channel, and bookmark this site for more tech updates!

Like the New iPad Keyboard? New iPad Keyboard in iOS 5: Undock and Split!

Ever since the iOS devices have been released, there have been some haters who have always criticized the devices for having screens that are rather hard to type on. Apple first addressed this issue in the iPhone and the iPod Touch by allowing landscape typing throughout the Operating System. Now, it seems as though they addressing this issue in the iPad with a new feature that is going to be released in iOS 5. Check out the demo of the feature below. Basically, with this feature, users can undock the keyboard from the bottom of the iPad and split it to allow typing with thumbs- much easier than the current method of typing on the iPad. I just found this feature to be cool, and I thought that I would share it because I think a lot of iPad users will find this feature handy, and will use it a lot.

iPad 2 Jailbreak Coming via JailbreakMe.com? I hope so!

Recent news has been released that Comex has been working with the iPhone Dev Team to release a new Jailbreak for the iPad 2. Now this jailbreak has been delayed for a very long time, and it is great news to hear that they are at least working on the jailbreak. However, greater hype should probably be made about how the device is supposedly going to be jailbroken - Comex has decided to bring JailbreakMe.com back to life! For those of you who don't know what JailbreakMe.com is, go ahead and check out my video below on it. Essentially, it is the easiest jailbreak there is- you can jailbreak without a computer, solely on your iDevice itself. If this is released for the iPad 2, it will be a victory in so many ways. Check out the video attached for more information, and be sure to check out all of my links below for more updates!

iOS 5 Lets You Use Your Device while Syncing! (Finally!)

I am very happy to see that a lot of the features that I previously jailbroke my iDevices for are finally being directly integrated into the iOS Operating System itself. One such feature is demoed in my video below. Essentially, up to this point with Apple iDevices, users could never use their devices while they were syncing the devices with their computer's iTunes Library, and they always had to wait until the sync was finished to use their device. Now, Apple has finally changed this in their iOS 5 Firmware. Instead of having to wait until the sync is completely finished to use their device, users can now access all of the features of their device and fully use it while the device is syncing! Check out the video below for a demo! I know this is a great feature, and a lot of people are going to like this. I myself am pumped.

iOS 5 Hidden Features Rundown: What Apple Didn't Tell You

Apple has a way of hyping up many features of every iOS that they release, every iPod they release, and even every computer they release. However, often times, they don't tell you about certain features that are included in these OS's, iPod's, or Computers that are rather useful and truly add to the glamor of them. Not surprisingly, Apple has done this in its new iOS 5. Rather than telling the general public about certain features that were included in the Operating System, they left them secret. That's where I come in. In the video below, I show you some of the useful hidden features that Apple didn't tell you were included in iOS 5. Check it out! Get Widgets in iOS 5 Via Notification Center (Finally!!)

It seems as though we finally have a way to download widgets for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad using the new Notification Center in iOS 5. Although this is not the way that we were hoping widgets would be implemented into the new OS, it at least gives us a little bit of confidence that there will be some type of widgets in the final release of iOS 5 by Apple in September. Currently, to download the widgets, you must jailbreak your device running iOS 5, and download them via Cydia. We are very hopeful they are fully implemented without a jailbreak in the fall. For now, check out the video below for full information, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel (link below) and bookmark this site, as well as follow us on twitter (link below) for more real-time updates!

How To Jailbreak iOS 5 (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad) (Mac) (Redsn0w)

Well, I've had my hands on the New iOS 5.0 Beta Firmware for about a week now, and I finally decided to begin researching into the Jailbreak for the firmware. As I shortly found out, the iPhone Dev Team have already jail-broken the firmware, and not only this, but they have already made the jailbreak public! Yes, the firmware is still in developer beta stages, but I thought it would be appropriate for those of you who are wondering to make a tutorial, or how to guide, into jail-breaking the new iOS 5 firmware! Check out the video below for the full guide, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel and bookmark this site for more updates in tech, especially Apple!

Notes on the Jailbreak:
  • This works on iPod Touch 4G/3G, iPad 1, iPhone 4/3GS, and Verizon iPhone. DO NOT TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE IPAD 2! It will not work.
  • This jailbreak is tethered. You must hook the device back up to your computer every time you turn it off. I do not recommend doing this on your primary device or if you travel without a computer a lot.
  • iOS 5 is already a little buggy as it is. This will make it even more buggy. I do not recommend doing this on your primary device- only if you need the jailbreak.
  • This works on Mac only for now. A windows tutorial video will be uploaded soon. Subscribe so you don't miss it.
  • An untethered jailbreak will be coming soon, so subscribe and stay tuned. This is the only jailbreak we have currently.
  • Thanks to HockeyGiantt15 and bmxkidsofly on aim for helping me to update all of my iDevices to iOS 5! Be sure to message them and check them out on YouTube!
  • Process Summary: Download Redsn0w, run once to jailbreak, another time to boot.
  • Thanks for watching, be sure to subscribe and rate thumbs up for more videos!

Apple iCloud Live Demo and Review (New iTunes Cloud). Up to Par?

If you've been following my site or my YouTube Channel for the last few days, you probably know that I was able to get my hands on the newly released Developer Beta of the iOS 5.0 firmware. After playing around with it for a few days, I figure I would give you guys a closer look video regarding one of Apple's newest features, iCloud, or iTunes Cloud. This feature, Apple says, will allow users to sync all of their content across all of their devices without ever using a USB cable again. After using this feature for a few days, I have found it to be terrific. Check out the video below for a closer look at iCloud, including a live demo of the feature. I truly find it to be a big game changer in purchases of Apple's iOS devices over their competition. Thanks for visiting, and for more updates, be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel, bookmark this site, and follow us on Twitter.

Apple WWDC Recap 2011: iOS 5, iCloud, OSX Lion

Today was once again a very exciting day for Apple fans as the company revealed a variety of new products at its annual WWDC event for the year. Surprisingly, this was the first year that we did not see Apple reveal a new iPhone Device; rather, the company chose to focus a great deal on its awesome software upgrades by revealing its iOS 5 for all of the iDevices, its iCloud music service, and its next generation Operating System, Mac OSX 10.7 Lion. All of these are very interesting, and I will be purchasing all of them and doing a video review on my site and YouTube channel, so stay tuned. Boy Sells his Kidney for an iPad 2: Would You?

Sometimes people go a little overboard to get what they want. This week, many technology websites were reporting about a boy who sold his kidney online just so that he could have enough money to afford an iPad 2. To me, this seems a little ridiculous. Electronics are meant to be a luxury, not a necessity, and I happen to be very lucky and thankful to be so blessed with so much luxury. However, I do not think I would go as far as risking my body to attain this luxury. However, some people do go this far, as I state in the video below. Check out the video and be sure to leave your thoughts. Do you think this boy is crazy? Would you sell your kidney for an iPad? Thanks for visiting, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube Channel and bookmark this site for more updates!

Apple has officially announced that next week at the WWDC 2011, iOS 5 along with OSX Lion and iCloud are going to be released -- but where is the iPhone 5?
