iOS 9.3.3 Beta 4: Where is a Jailbreak and iOS 10 Beta 2?
Macs in Motion explores Apple tech, history, hacks, hidden features, product deep dives, and the stories behind the products shaping Apple.
Apple has released iOS 9.3.3 Beta 4 to the public, but there is still not a jailbreak available. We also don’t have iOS 10 beta 2 or the iOS 9.3.3 public release. What’s up with Apple? Will a jailbreak and new firmwares be coming soon? I've been asked these questions a few times today, and I honestly have pondered the same ideas myself. In the past, Apple has been pretty consistent with having a few betas for non-major firmwares, and for major firmwares, they have typically released updates about two weeks apart from each other. This year seems different though - we still do not have the public release of iOS 9.3.3 after four beta firmwares, and iOS 10 has been in beta 1 form for about two and a half weeks. Will we ever get these updates, let alone, the jailbreak that we have been waiting for? If you're interested, check out my video below for my update - which ended up being a bit of a rant at times (haha)! Updates seem imminent, but Apple could be hiding something - we will soon find out.
