iPhone 7 Without a Headphone Jack?! Apple's Answer or "Fix"

Rumors are confirming that Apple will remove the 3.5mm headphone jack when it releases the iPhone 7. Is this a bad move?? Honestly, to me, it seems like a terrible move, and many people agree, but Apple might not think so. As more rumors are slowly released and more time passes, it seems more and more likely that Apple will get rid of this feature that we have loved for many years, and they will be offering us a "fix" or some comfort with a different new feature to offset this. Will there ever truly be an offset to losing the headphone jack that all of my headphones fit into?? I'm not convinced.
