Quite some time ago, one of the biggest reasons people jailbroke the iPhone was so that they could install themes and UI customizations to make the device and iOS feel more personal or entertaining. With the more recent versions of iOS including iOS 10 and iOS 11, Apple has been limiting the ways that iOS can be customized by patching jailbreak exploits - destroying the ways of using theming jailbreak apps to customize the iPhone. There is good news, despite all this, in the fact that developers have discovered a few simple methods to install themes on iOS 11 and other versions of iOS without the need of a jailbreak! iOS 11 has been available in beta form for some time now, and although we are not expecting a jailbreak any time soon, I certainly enjoy customizing my iPhone. This is my guide to install jailbreak apps and themes on iOS 11 without jailbreaking using the Cyrus App Installer, an alternative to Cydia, on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. This works on iOS 11 and below. Cydia and a jailbreak are not required. Hoping we will see an official jailbreak this fall from Pangu, Taig, or Luca Todesco, but the themes definitely are a cool install for now!
