Did Apple just confirm the iPhone 8 Release Date? At their Q3 earnings call today, Apple hinted at something big being released at the beginning of the “back-to-school” season in September 2017 - is this the iPhone 8? It definitely seems likely. Along with the major leak of the iPhone 8 design and features yesterday from Apple, this is shaping up to be a big week for the tenth-anniversary iPhone. I suppose we will have to wait until later this year to get full confirmation of these rumors, but the leaks we've seen this week have spiked my excitement. The new iPhone 8 will feature an edge-to-edge AMOLED display, wireless charging, augmented reality, Face ID face detection, iOS 11, and more. I can’t wait.
